LOA!!!!

Woohoo! Today was an awesome day! This morning we received a new video of Aili. It’s only 19 seconds long, but it is priceless. I’ve watched it at least 100 times today. She’s running, picking up balls, and we even got a smile 🙂

I called Denise at our agency after we got the video and we chatted about a few things, particularly about preparing our i800 early so when LOA comes we’ll be ready to send it to USCIS. After I hung up with her I stopped at the gas station. When I got back in my car there was a voice mail from her saying that after we hung up, she checked her email and there it was. Day 40 we got our LOA!! I can’t believe it! Some people have been waiting over 150 days. They got stuck in the system change. And as happy as I am today, my heart still is heavy for them.

I’m working late at a hospital tonight, but I’ll be up as long as it takes to get our i800 filled out and the necessary supporting documents and forms done and ready. But who needs sleep?? I have a child to get to!
